Project Planning and Strategy Development
We created a detailed project plan with tasks, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation overseen by a project manager. Risk mitigation strategies were developed, and a communication plan was established for stakeholder engagement and progress updates.
Design Phase Project Plan Details
Number of Design Sprints:
The design phase will be divided into 3 sprints, each lasting two weeks.
Total duration of 6 weeks.
Sprint Schedule for Design:
Week 1-2 (Sprint 1): Conduct user research, gather requirements, and create initial wireframes.
Week 3-4 (Sprint 2): Develop detailed designs and interactive prototypes based on feedback from the initial wireframes.
Week 5-6 (Sprint 3): Conduct user testing on prototypes, gather feedback, and make necessary design refinements.
Backlog Grooming:
Backlog grooming sessions will be held every week before the start of each sprint, ensuring the design backlog is well-defined and prioritized.
Bug Scrubbing:
Design bug scrub sessions will be held once per sprint at the end of each sprint, ensuring timely identification and resolution of design-related issues.
Requirement Gathering and
Analysis
We conducted interviews and workshops with frequent guests and resort managers, along with arranging workshop sessions involving stakeholders and users to comprehensively understand their needs, pain points, and expectations. Additionally, we conducted market research and competitive analysis. The deliverables from this phase include user personas and identified challenges.

User Persona
In a hospitality management system such as ResortSuite, different guest user personas can be recognized depending on their requirements, preferences, and engagements with the platform. Here are a few possible guest user profiles:
Design
and Prototyping
We created wireframes and prototypes based on the gathered requirements, conducting usability testing with stakeholders to refine the design. Additionally, we developed a moodboard, style guide, and component library for our demo product, which can be customized to match clients' specific website needs.
Development Phase
We adopted an agile methodology with iterative sprints for development, ensuring regular sprint reviews and feedback sessions. Additionally, we maintained comprehensive documentation for code, design, and user guides.
Currently working on a case study. For more information or project details, feel free to email for assistance with draft copies.
